opportunity belief

I have a belief that an opportunity exists in nutritional healing. I have research information proving many individuals ailments can be solved by a total revamp of their diet. Not only will an individual's health and body change, but also their personal life and career can change as well  due to their increased energy level and elevated mood. This can possibly change people's lives.
The unmet need is people having better control over their lives and bodies. Many people, including the average American, don't understand how good they could be feeling if they just ate right. This need developed from out horrible diet and exercise habits. People are currently meeting these needs by going on fad diets and taking pills however the solution to many of these problems starts with nutrition.
The typical customer would be the average overweight and unhealthy American who constantly takes medication due to diet based illnesses.
My uncle currently takes medication for diabetes and has sleep apnea due to his weight. He believes this is not really due to his diet and he just received an unlucky draw. I have spent time trying to convince him of and show him the studies proving diabetes has almost been completely eradicated in people who follow vegan plant based died but he doesn't want to hear it. He is much more comfortable taking a pill than making a real life style change.
I learned that many people often don't want to look at the facts if it requires them to leave their comfort zones. Many people are creatures of habit and very stuck in their ways and practices.
Many people who adopt this live strive to live a wholesome and healthy lifestyle in the first place and still see monumental results.
I recently had the chance to speak with a local yoga instructor who swears going vegan and eating clean elevated her mood entirely and caused her to no longer need her anti depression and anxiety pills. She said once her body felt better her mind began to clear almost as if a fog has been lifted. She is currently happier that she has ever been throughout her entire life and hasn't taken a medication for mental illness in over seven years.
This really resonated with me because I couldn't believe something as simple as changing your diet can possibly result in monumental life change. After this instructor began eating clean and feeling like a new person, she went on to meet her spouse and they currently have a beautiful daughter together.
My roommate is suffering currently from weight related illness due to her horrible diet that developed after her first few years of college.
I have spoken to her about the chance of a clean and plant based diet making her feel much better and making hr ailments and difficulties greatly improved. She is open to the idea, however there are logistical concerns on her part such as expense and free time to prepare food.
This showed me that many people may be very open to the idea, however logistically it may be difficult.
These experiences have shown me that many people may embrace this idea with open arms or may be stagnant, however exposure and education is the first step.

Entrepreneurship Story

The first time I was first exposed to entrepreneurship was my first real world internship when I was 16 years old. I worked for a startup technology company called Goliath Technologies, owned and operated by my good family friend and I got first hand experience into this company and its owner's entrepreneurial background. The company's CEO completely built the company by himself from nothing with mere dollars to his name. He gave me some essential advice stating that whatever passion and drive I have I must follow, because where I put my passion I will put my efforts and from there stems success.
I enrolled in ENT 3003 because I genuinely want to learn more about entrepreneurship and my possible role in it in the future. I have chosen my Advertising degree’s concentration to be Business studies and want to learn as much as possible regarding my interests. I hope to gain a well rounded knowledge of entrepreneurship and its subsequent practices as well as discover skills that are applicable to not only my undergraduate interests but my professional and career interests as well.
